In recent times xiaomi had released there mi note 3 series after Mi4. this device is very popular at a mid range it has both 16GB and 32GB variants. The 16 GB variant has 2GB RAM and 32GB has 3GB of RAM both of them are powered by Qualcomm based snapdragon 650 chip set which is most efficient and powerful chip set of its class it has six cores. Each one is clocked with 1.8Ghz Hexacore processor and has got a dual channel ram which allows better performance of its class.

Battery:

According to the Xiaomi note 3 the battery backup is very good. It has a massive 4050mAh battery which is not user replaceable but the battery is very light and thin and it helps in overall weigh distribution of the phone. The battery is very good for normal use as well as hard use. Xiaomi has given a inbuilt battery saving option. which saves the battery very well you can set up the battery function to standard to see the full performance of this phone.

Networks and communications:

The Redmi note 3 has got dual sim slot which a hybrid sim slot we can put a micro SD card upto 128GB and we can insert our primary sim. There is no individual slot for the micro SD card. but the sim slot supports 4G Volte as well.

Sensor:

Xiaomi has done a great job while coming to the cadre sensors. The phone as a got a gyroscope sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor, compass, IR blaster and a fingerprint sensor The IR blaster is working very well. You can control  your Air conditioners , DVD players, Home theaters and your set top box. The IR blaster supports the third party apps as well. This unit has a fingerprint scanner which is more accurate when compared to other devices at this range. It unlock your phone in 0.3 seconds and it provides better security to your phone.

Camera: 

The camera quality is very good It has a 16 megapixel camera at the back with dual tone LED flash which is full HD 1080 and it can records 4k videos and the front facing camera is 5 megapixel which can record 1080p videos. The HDR option is working pretty good in this device.There are lot of other features in the camera such as auto focus, Tap to focus and much more.

Sound quality:

The sound quality of this device is very good compared Redmi note 2 and it has a inbuilt stereo equalizer it supports MP4 it has a 3.5 mm of headphone jack which is situated at the top of the device.

The Redmi note 3 is full metallic finished body that gives a premium feel when u hold it, it fits in your hand correctly, and the phone has got a LED notification light which can be customized. The device is very light to hold with a massive battery which is very slim.

Display:

This phone has a got a 5.5 inch full HD display which is protected with gorilla glass 3  and the phone is capable of reading at sunlight and inside the display settings we can adjust the screen color temperature and the phone got one hand mode which we can use it with one hand we can adjust the screen size via one hand mode and much more. The auto rotation feature works perfectly the phone can be customized by themes app which is inbuilt with the phone it has a lot of online themes and you can fully customize your phone ringtones and much more the screen timeout is stands very well in this phone. we can setup onscreen buttons too, and the brightness of the screen is very good. on the lock screen when hearing music the music player widget pops out and you get push notifications for your messages. you can swipe for the camera from the lock screen.

Security:

The MIUI 7 has given a security app in your phone which works perfectly it acts as a phone cleaner, data manager, call and SMS Blocklist, A permission manager, Antivirus, App lock and the battery saver all in one app and after the first system update 7.2.3.0 you can able to use the finger print scanner to lock your social apps to maintain privacy. you don’t want to install any third party apps the MIUI security will take care of it.

In my opinion it is a well and good smartphone for this budget and it gives more value for its price.
